Atalaya Golf and Country Club has been one of the most popular clubs on the Costa del Sol since opening in 1968. At Atalaya you have a choice of two wonderful courses.

Course Information
The Old Course is a classic parkland course with its generous Bermuda grass fairways, protected by well placed bunkers and endowed with slick greens. Eucalyptus and pine trees grow along all the fairways, giving pleasant shade in summer but meting out their own punishment for inaccurate shots. This course is suitable for any standard of player. |
| The New Course, opened in 1990, with its beautiful fairways and excellent greens has become a genuine challenge to both the established players as well as the beginners. It starts off deceptively gently between the wide, flat fairways of the Old Course but things soon get more difficult as you head up into the foothills. |

One of the major attractions is the Golf School which is one of the best known on the Costa del Sol, offering lessons for all levels instructed by its PGA professionals, who will ensure that you not only improve your handicap, but even enjoy doing so.
The practice facilities at the Atalaya Golf & Country Club are one of the finest in southern Europe, including one of the largest driving ranges on the coast, various putting greens, bunkers and short game areas. |
