El Paraiso Golf Location:14Km from Marbella and 74 Km. from Malaga Located in a valley surrounded by hills with magnificent views of the coast. Reasonable rates, good management and a friendly atmosphere have made this traditional British-style golf club extremely popular.
Course Information This course offers a challenge to players of all levels. The course, set in the Paraiso valley and traversed by streams, many of which are hidden, winds round two lakes and through hundreds of trees. The wide fairways are ordered by heavy rough grass and tropical flora.
The 6th hole is generally regarded as the best on the course, a par 5 dog leg left where your drive must steer clear of two well positioned bunkers, left and right, and your second shot should be aimed to the left in order to avoid landing in the lake. The green has two tiers.
El Paraiso has a special category of "overseas membership" designed to make it easier to reserve tee times, especially during the busy winter months, ideal for visiting golfers who spend part of the year on the Costa.
