Founded in April 1998, The Equestrian School is situated on the banks of the River Padron, about 800 metres from the beach and not very far from the Sierra Bermeja mountains. It is built in the traditional Andalucian style and is well integrated into the surroundings.
LOCAL STABLES
Situated between San Pedro and Estepona are a few reputable stables that offer tuition for all ages and standards. Supervised individual and group pony treks in the countryside or along the beach can also be organised. These tours are usually early in the morning or late afternoon for an exciting way to discover this area
EL RANCHITO
Here you will see the finest examples of Andalucian horses displaying their intelligence and dexterityin an hour long show. Ritmo a Caballo takes place in a Show Ring where up to 500 individually seatedspectators can admire the balletic movements of the 14 professionally trained thorough-breds in a five part presentation.
For the Horse Lover, this show is an absolute must. El Ranchito is just off the N340 coast road between Torremolinos and Malaga airport. shows take place on Wednesdays at 18.00 hrs. Entrance fees are around 12 Euros
