Location: Ctra. Guadiaro Km. 1
Access
By car: From Malaga to Algeciras on the motorway A7 taking the Exit 132 or from Algeciras to Málaga, Exit 130 towards Guadiaro.
By plane: International airports- Malaga (100 km), Gibraltar (20 km), Jerez (120 Km)
By ship: Harbours- Algeciras (25 Km), Gibraltar (20 Km) and Malaga (100 Km) and Sport harbour Sotogrande (1km).

Course Information
La Cañada was the first municipal course on the Costa del Sol and a fitting tribute to the determination of the people of Guadiaro. Back in the 1960's, when the first Sotogrande course opened many turned into golf addicts practically overnight, therefore, this town proportionally presents the highest number of amateurs in Spain. |
| This course offers well maintained greens. The first hole sets the tone for a tough round of golf, and the 4th is a trek into the unknown with no view of the green until the third shot. Originally just 9 holes, La Cañada has been extended to a full length course. |
