Santa Maria Golf Location:Located only 10 km from Marbella. Located opposite Marbella's Hotel Don Carlos, the course of Santa Maria traces the contours of two valleys and offers distracting views of the Mediterranean. The natural vegetation, streams and four lakes form natural hazards.
Course Information The first nine holes are shorter but trickier than the back nine, which are flatter and have wider fairways. Players will find several holes particularly memorable: the 6th hole is especially challenging and is located on the highest point of the course. The 7th green is surrounded by bunkers and at the 11th there is a lake and a waterfall by the green.
Other features are its magnificent clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pool, lawn bowls and, for those wishing extra tuition, the Golf School which has a well earned reputation of being one of the best the Coast has to offer.
